Alkylating Agents
Refers to specific chemicals or other agents which result in chemical attachment of alkyl molecular groups (e.g., methyl group, ethyl group, etc.) to molecules such as DNA. Some alkylating agents (e.g., ethyl methane sulphonate) are mutagens.
